Affidea Greece

Affidea began its operation in Greece in 2005 with the aim of providing high quality, integrated primary health services for everyone. Its laboratories are certified according to the international standard ISO 9001. In addition, its biopathology laboratories are accredited by the National Accreditation System (ESYD) according to ISO 15189.

Today it operates an extensive Nationwide Network of Diagnostic Laboratories, which are established in standard medical premises with the highest levels of safety, comfort and aesthetics and state-of-the-art technology medical equipment. At the same time, they are staffed by renowned physicians with excellent scientific training and connected to each other with the most modern telemedicine system in Greece.

Affidea Greece, faithfully applying the high levels of operation of the parent company, successfully responds to the responsibility of ensuring the excellent quality of the results of diagnostic tests in its laboratories with dedication to improving the quality of life of the people who trust us.

Awards and accreditations

Affidea’s diagnostic laboratories already count significant international recognitions for the high-quality services they offer to the persons examined. All Affidea diagnostic laboratories participating in the “Dose Excellence” program are included in the “EuroSafe Wall of Stars” list, the best in Europe in terms of radiation protection by the European Society of Radiology (ESR).

In addition, all nuclear medicine departments of Affidea have received very important certifications from the European Union of Medical Specialist (UEMS) for the reliability of the tests and the high quality of the services provided. We are proud of the distinction our clinical laboratories achieved because the high technical competence of our laboratories is proven once again (highly trained staff, modern equipment, intensive internal quality control).

Affidea’s development initiatives and best practices have received numerous distinctions at a national level as well. Affidea’s laboratories are accredited according to the ELOT EN ISO 15189:2012 International Standard for clinical trials conducted at their premises. In addition, we adopt and continuously improve our Quality Management System in accordance with the ELOT EN ISO 9001 International Standard (Certification).
