DERM

What for

DERM is an AI-powered skin lesion analysis device designed for pre-symptomatic screening, triage, and evaluation of malignant lesions – such as melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma – without invasive procedures.

DERM combines:

  • Digital dermatoscope: A high-resolution medical camera for capturing images of moles.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI): Capable of recognizing signs of suspicious lesions, based on numerous studies and datasets (over 180,000 examined individuals).

Within minutes, DERM contributes to the detection of suspicious high-risk skin lesions, with 99.9% accuracy in ruling out melanoma.

If high-risk signs are detected, immediate referral to a dermatologist for further evaluation is made – without delays.

DERM supports early detection through AI but does not replace dermatological screening and examination by a dermatologist (also known as "digital mole mapping"), which is recommended annually depending on individual risk factors.

Additionally, every individual – regardless of the DERM result – who has not undergone a dermatological examination in the last 6 months should be actively encouraged to proceed with a full dermatological check-up.

*DERM can support the evaluation of up to 5 moles per examination.
