Coronary CT Angiography is a non-invasive diagnostic method that allows for the visualization of the coronary arteries and the heart. It has been in use for over ten years, and millions of examinations have been performed to date.

Coronary CT Angiography should be conducted following a clinical examination by a cardiologist. Based on extensive experience and numerous studies, the clinical value of Coronary CT Angiography is significant, and it is now the test of choice for patients with moderate cardiovascular risk.
Coronary CT Angiography is indicated for asymptomatic individuals, as well as those who do not have typical symptoms of coronary artery disease but have predisposing factors for its development, such as high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, family history, smoking, and obesity.
The examination is also indicated when other diagnostic tests, such as myocardial perfusion imaging or conventional coronary angiography, yield unclear results or present technical limitations. Coronary CT Angiography provides the opportunity to assess the patency of aortocoronary grafts (Bypass Grafts) and to perform pre-interventional or pre-surgical assessments.
