Gastroenterological – Endoscopical Department

The state-of-the-art Gastroenterology – Endoscopy Department offers comprehensive services primarily focused on the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases through endoscopic procedures of the upper and lower digestive tract.

The Department is staffed with experienced and specialized gastroenterologists and well-trained support staff. It meets the needs of all outpatients who are to undergo either gastroscopy or colonoscopy, as well as gastroenterological examinations in an Outpatient Clinic setting.

Cutting-edge Medical Equipment

The latest generation of PENTAX endoscopes represents the pinnacle of digital endoscopy worldwide and is used for the first time in our country in our Department. The image processing with the PENTAX i-scan (Full High Definition) system provides digital endoscopy with chromoendoscopy for optimal image quality.

The high-resolution image allows for the most detailed analysis of findings, resulting in a more thorough assessment of gastrointestinal conditions, particularly in the detection of polyps.

Cleaning is performed with state-of-the-art specialized washers that reach the level of sterilization.

Endoscopies are usually carried out after intravenous administration of medications, making them exceptionally comfortable, painless, and safe.
