National Prevention Program "PROLAMVANO"

This is the first comprehensive National Program implemented in our country for Prevention. The program covers nearly the entire population and aims at the timely detection of major chronic diseases (such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases) that are responsible for premature deaths in our country, through the establishment of free preventive diagnostic tests for breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and cardiovascular risk.

Beneficiaries of these programs who have activated paperless prescription services receive a digital referral for free preventive examinations. Those who have not activated paperless prescription services can use their Social Security Number (AMKA) to visit any affiliated center in their area (public or private) and schedule their appointment for the corresponding program examination, at no cost (the list of affiliated centers can be found on the program websites).
