Affidea Diagnostic Centers participate in the National Prevention Program for Cardiovascular Diseases and offer free examinations as part of the Ministry of Health's "PROLAMVANO" program.

Who is eligible for the free cardiological screening?

✔ Men & women aged 30-70 who have an AMKA (Social Security Number), whether they are insured or uninsured.

Which Examinations Are Included in the Screening at Affidea Diagnostic Centers:

✔ Blood Tests for Lipid Profile:

• Total Cholesterol (TCHOL)

• Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C)

• High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL-C)

• Triglycerides (Tgs)

• Blood Glucose – Sugar (CL)

• Complete Blood Count

• Determination of Lipoprotein(a) [LP(a)]

✔ Medical Consultation: A specialist consultation with a Cardiologist, General Practitioner, or Internist for cardiovascular risk assessment and diagnosis of metabolic syndrome.

✔ In Case of Findings: A cardiological examination for the presence or absence of coronary artery disease.

✔ In case of findings, a cardiological ischemia evaluation is performed using stress echo and contrast echo or myocardial scintigraphy.

How Can You Participate in the Program?

Step-by-Step Process:

• Receive an informational SMS and referral via electronic prescription.

• Undergo blood tests at Affidea Diagnostic Centers without an appointment.

• Based on the results, have a medical examination by a Cardiologist, General Practitioner, or Internist at Affidea Diagnostic Centers, with an appointment.

• Receive a cardiological examination for the presence or absence of coronary artery disease at Affidea Diagnostic Centers, with an appointment.

• Undergo a cardiological ischemia evaluation with stress echo and contrast echo or myocardial scintigraphy at Affidea Diagnostic Centers, with an appointment.
